My name is Lauren Kaldahl. My favorite tiny humans call me Mrs. Kaldahl. I am currently teaching social studies for grades 3-5. I never planned to be a teacher, but I’m so glad life worked out this way. I have developed a passion I never thought I’d have for this career.
I’m a dog mom to my Golden Retriever, Walt Disney Kaldahl. Disney World is my favorite place. I’m obsessed with Harry Potter. I’m never happier than when I have a good book in my hands or when I am writing (or working on my own book). I love playing tennis. I own too many coffee mugs.

Hi! I just found you on my instagram feed. Let me start by telling you how much I love your purple classroom! And that lime green door complements it perfectly! Reading your story on how you became a teacher touched my heart. I am on the same boat at the moment. Just got hired as “long-term sub” for a second grade bilingual class. I’m in the process of studying for the TEXES and starting Texas Teacher online certification program. There is so much going on as we start classes August 22nd!
